First Aid for Schools and Pre-Schools
Our First Aid courses for Schools and Pre-Schools are aimed at anyone who cares for children and covers the basics that carers are likely to come across while looking after child.
In most cases the Ofsted requirements for registered people working with children including Nannies, Au Pairs, Childminders, Nursery Workers and Childcare Workers need the minimun of a 12 hour course to meet the requirements.
If you are looking at entering other childcare sectors such as Schools as a Teacher or Playground Staff Member - then a more comprehensive Paediatric First Aid course is advised
Our courses are designed to be used in schools. It is very important that the teaching and support staff know basic first aid and this course covers everything they would need to know.
All our first aid courses fully meet the UK and European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2015 as per the HSE requirements.
The content of this and all our courses has been independently certified as conforming to universally accepted Continuous Professional Development (CPD) guidelines and come with a Certified CPD Statement as well as an All First Aid Training Certificate and for online courses an Evidence Based Learning statement.
Please be advised that the classroom course has a minimum age requirement of 16.
